The Instructional Leaders for Tomorrow Program
The overall focus of Cohort IV is to ensure aspiring principals the training and support to be highly effective principals. In order to accomplish this focus, the aspiring principal group will be trained in the following areas:  data-driven instruction, observation and feedback, instructional planning, professional development, student culture, staff culture and managing school leadership teams.  In addition, rubrics from each of the seven areas and the Compass Leader Rubric serve as guides to link expectations and practices of the district and evaluation requirements set by Louisiana Department of Education.  These rubrics will serve as tools to integrate the training and determine the readiness of participants as exceptional school leaders.
