In September 2007, a committee was selected to make recommendations to School Superintendent Charlotte D. Placide and the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board on how to address the construction needs at Baton Rouge Magnet High School.
The 12 person committee is comprised of school officials, students and community organizations. The committee members have agreed to recommend to the Superintendent that the school campus be remodeled to fit the needs of todays students.
Before this recommendation is officially made, the community will have an opportunity to make public comments during a forum scheduled for December 4, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at the Baton Rouge Magnet High School auditorium.
