The core beliefs of
the East Baton Rouge Parish School System include:

Public education is a right and a responsibility to be shared by all individuals and organizations in our community.

All children can learn and experience success in school.

A successful public school system is a critical component of a successful community.

A successful public school system must have a data driven improvement plan which must be monitored on an annual basis.

The achievement gap can be eliminated while increasing the academic achievement of all students.

Schools have a dramatic impact on children’s lives.

Families are critical partners in the success of their children.

All children should be provided a safe, well maintained and orderly educational environment.
