Glasgow MS TVA

Creepy Crawlies? More like Complex Creatures! The Talented Art students from Glasgow Middle School have made a vibrant, realistic, permanent installation for the art wall at the BREC Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center. They have been brilliantly working towards the goal of merging art and science together as one, by creating extremely intricate, and detailed models of some of the rarest and most unique bugs that define our state. The objective is to incorporate creativity into raising awareness, and conveying knowledge about the anatomy and unique characteristics of each Louisiana bug. And to show that even simple materials can be used in making complex artwork.
